balmy berry co. is a small-batch skincare brand based in Berry, NSW. We create handcrafted whipped tallow moisturisers using simple, nourishing ingredients chosen with purpose.

Our products are made in small batches, with a focus on everyday skin nourishment, thoughtful packaging and a slower, more considered approach to skincare.

What is tallow skincare?

Tallow skincare is made using rendered beef fat, traditionally used for its rich, moisturising feel on the skin. Our whipped tallow moisturisers are blended with carefully selected oils and botanicals to create a soft, creamy balm for everyday use.

Our products are handcrafted in Berry, NSW in small batches.

What products do you currently offer?

Our first collection includes three whipped tallow moisturisers:

Morning Light
A fresh, uplifting blend made with grass-fed tallow, jojoba oil and lemon myrtle.

Daily Ritual
A soft everyday balm made with grass-fed tallow, jojoba oil, honey and vanilla bean.

Evening Calm
A gentle, grounding blend made with grass-fed tallow, jojoba oil and lavender.

 

How do I use it?

Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin and gently massage in.

A little goes a long way, so we recommend starting with a small amount and adding more if needed. It can be used on the face, hands and body as part of your everyday skincare routine.

Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only.

 

Can I use it on my face?

Yes, our whipped tallow moisturisers can be used on the face, hands and body.

As with any skincare product, we recommend patch testing first, especially if you have sensitive skin or are trying a new ingredient.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Our products are made with simple ingredients and no synthetic fragrance, but everyone’s skin is different.

If you have sensitive skin, allergies or a known skin condition, we recommend patch testing first and checking the ingredients carefully before use.

Do your products contain synthetic fragrance?

No. We do not use synthetic fragrance.

Does it smell like tallow?

Our balms are carefully blended with natural ingredients to create a soft and pleasant scent. Because we use real, simple ingredients, the scent may vary slightly between batches.

We do not use synthetic fragrance to mask the natural character of the ingredients.

Are your products greasy?

Our whipped tallow moisturisers are rich and nourishing, so a small amount is best.

If it feels too heavy, you may be using a little too much. Start with a pea-sized amount and warm it between your fingers before applying.

How should I store my jar?

Store your jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

As our products are made with natural ingredients and whipped by hand, warmer temperatures may soften the balm. This does not mean the product is unusable — simply place it somewhere cooler and allow it to firm up again.

Why does the texture sometimes change?

Because our balms are handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients, slight changes in texture may occur, especially with changes in temperature.

This is normal and does not affect the product’s purpose or use.

Are your products made in small batches?

Yes. Every Balmy Berry Co. product is made in small batches.

This allows us to keep our process thoughtful, reduce excess stock and ensure each batch is made with care.

Do you offer local delivery?

Free delivery is available for selected postcodes. It will eb shown on checkout if available.

We are based in Berry, NSW and love supporting our local community wherever we can.

Yes, we ship within Australia.

What is your jar return initiative?

For our Berry locals, we offer a jar return initiative.

When your jar is finished, reach out to us about returning it. We will have it commercially cleaned and reused where possible, and you’ll receive 5% off your next purchase as our thank you for helping us reduce waste and give our jars a second life.

 

How do I return my jar?

Once your jar is empty, please contact us by email at balmyberryco@gmail.com and we’ll let you know the next steps.

Can I use the balm on children?

Our products are made for general external use, but children’s skin can be more sensitive.

Do you use preservatives?

Our whipped tallow moisturisers are oil-based products and do not contain added water. Because of this, they do not require the same type of preservative system as water-based creams or lotions.

Please always use clean, dry hands when applying and keep water out of the jar.

 

How long will one jar last?

This depends on how often you use it and where you apply it.

Because the balm is rich and a little goes a long way, most people only need a small amount each time.
